More Appointment News

We had our first appointment on Monday and also got our first ultrasound:
It’s very difficult to see—the red arrow is only marginally more helpful—but it’s very easy to describe: black circle. My baby is a black circle deep within Sandi and I call it Junior, even though I have no idea—subconsciously or not—whether it’s a boy or a girl.
We go for another appointment next Wednesday, March 19th. In other news, Sandi may have contracted Fifth’s Disease and I am anxiously awaiting the results of that blood test. I had never heard of it and it scares the bejezus out of me. I’m not a big fan of either fetal death or low birth weight, so I’m hoping that the years Sandi has spent teaching have built up an immunity.
