Annie Elizabeth turned 3 months old yesterday! It is hard to believe that she has been in our lives such a short time. She has changed us forever and we love her so. She is talking so much now and noticing her sister now. They are beginning to talk more to each other. I love [...]
It is official Kimmie is rolling over from back to front and then back to her back. She is such a strong girl she rolls over all the time now. In fact, this morning she rolled over onto her sister’s head. Annie was less than pleased about this. Annie is very good at rolling over [...]
We’ve finally done the math and discovered that The Girls are consuming formula at a rate of two cans every 7½ days. At $27.99 per can, that works out to $55.98 plus tax (though there may not be any on formula…). But the upside to that expense is that they’re growing and very healthy!
I uploaded a slew of new pictures (about 200 in all) of Annie and Kimberly this morning, including this incredible picture of Kimberly. Enjoy! PS: I’ll fix the dates when I get home from work tonight. They bother me too.
Man, Kimberly is growing up fast!! After I posted yesterday she rolled over two different times from her back to her front. Then, since I was making such a fuss at Kimberly, Annie decided she would try it. I think she scared herself because she started crying when she was on her tummy.
Kimberly just celebrated her 3 month birthday this past weekend. We went and took her to get her photograph taken at the Picture People. It was the first time that she was awake for professional photographs. She is so cute. I will have Bill post the photo when he gets home. She has been growing [...]
I got a call this afternoon that another friend of mine had a miscarriage. Why does this seem to be happening all around me. I am so sorry for her loss and I know that this is not easy. Take time for you and be patient. It will get better.
I just found out that 2 acquaintances have had miscarriages. Both were before 12 weeks and both are doing okay. It just brings me back to the same question, why these things have to happen. I know that, in my case, I would not have Annie if Elizabeth had not miscarried. (Annie was conceived in [...]
Just yesterday I had a traumatic experience. I was getting the girls dressed when the outfits didn’t fit anymore. I was taken aback for a second. Although I am ready for the girls to grow up a little and start taking naps. I was not fully prepared for how I would feel now that they [...]
Our box-set of Baby Einstein DVDs arrived yesterday and the girls enjoyed Baby Mozart and Baby Bach. Don’t worry, we’re not turning the TV into a third parent: at this age, any television is a source of stimulus and mind-building—just like looking at the world. The theory behind Baby Einstein is that they show video [...]
