She’s Got the Fever

I took a half day today because Annie was crying a lot and Sandi needed to take exclusive care of her. Turned out that she had a 102.2° fever when I got home at 11 AM and it jumped up to 103.9° by noon. Naturally, Sandi took Annie to the doctor because she wasn’t getting any better even though we had given her Tylenol, put a damp washcloth on her head, and even gave her a cool bath.
I just got a call from Sandi, who’s on her way home, and she said that the doctor thinks it’s probably just a virus. He wants us to call him if it hits 105°. 105°!?! Umm, we’ll be going to the hospital ’round 104°.
