Trains

Sunday, February 27th, 2005

Today we took the girls to a train park. We rode the train and in true Kimberly style she fussed the entire time. They like to look at the trains in the yard much more than the train ride through the desert. I thought that Kimmie was just being fussy, as she can sometimes be, [...]

Birth Story in 100 Pictures: a Hungarian couple had their baby in an inflatable pool in their kitchen and took 100 pictures of the event at every stage. The baby makes her appearance on page four. Enjoy! (Or don’t.) {via}

Out of Surgery

Tuesday, February 22nd, 2005

Annie had her operation this morning and is doing well. When I went in to get her out of bed she got up and came right to me. She sat in the backseat playing with her Taggie and enjoying herself. This made me more relaxed because I knew that she was showing me that she [...]

My Annie’s Ears

Friday, February 18th, 2005

As you all know we took Annie to the ENT today for her evaluation. She still has the right ear infection and fluid is already building up in the left ear that was clear on Monday. It has become clear that Annie has a 25-30 decibel hearing loss due to the fluid. The doctor gave [...]

Little Bit in 3D

Tuesday, February 15th, 2005

I think Sandi mentioned that we went to Geddes Imaging to have Little Bit’s picture taken. Here’s one of many: [UPDATE: Oops, I guess she didn't. We took Little Bit to the same place that we took Annie and Kimberly. That's her looking all three dimensional.]

Yesterday, we took Annie back to the doctor for a check-up. Unfortunately, her ears are not clear. She has to go to see the Ear, Nose, and Throat specialist on Friday. We will keep you updated on how the appointment goes.

updates

Friday, February 11th, 2005

I had my regular appointment for Little Bit on Wed. It was a nice appt. She is looking good. As far as the VBAC goes I will have to deliver at Good Samaritan Hospital. This hospital is pretty far from our house downtown. It is one of the best regional hospitals for high-risk deliveries. If [...]

Our Daughter, Little Nike

Australian Pair eBay Rights to Daughter: so for five years, her kid could be named “Goldenpalace.com”. Then what? Does the kid get a new name and identity? Do people have no shame any more?

Boobies!!!

Thursday, February 3rd, 2005

Today Kimberly was over banging on the fridge door telling me boobies, boobies, over and over. I guess she wants boobies!! I think it is a little early for her to be thinking about puberty. NO really, she just wanted blueberries! The Girls love fruit and the latest and greatest one is blueberries!

I finally figured something out

Tuesday, February 1st, 2005

I finally figured something out! I think I have cracked the code on why my daughters love one show and dislilke the next. It has boiled down to a couple of things. 1. The show must have music in it! They love to dance and try to sing along. 2. It must have people in [...]

getting better

Tuesday, February 1st, 2005

The girls are doing so much better this morning. The augmenten really helped Annie last night. She did not even have a slight fever this morning. I could not be more happy. I guess it helps that they slept through the night too. Which means I slept through the night.
