Sleeping in her crib!
By sandi | June 16, 2005
While I am typing this Madeline is sleeping in her crib! This is only the second time in her 8 weeks of life that this has happened. She normally naps downstairs on the sofa, in her swing or in her bouncy chair. At night she sleeps with me or Bill, which means that someone has to go to bed at 7:30 to sleep with her. If she is old enough to sleep on her own, this is huge. Of course I will still co-sleep with her but, if I can put her down by herself at 7 then I will have time to spend with Bill or clean. Heck, I could even watch tv again! I love the time we spend together at night and the closeness and the peace of mind I get from having her right next to me.
She only slept for 45 minutes up there. Still that is a start and something that we will continue to work on.
Also, last night Madeline had no fussy time!

Don’t make her grow up too fast!! All of your girls are growing into big little girls with such great hearts. I cannot wait until our little girl can join the clan of smiles!!
