An Eskimo Kiss that is. Annie and Kimberly have learned how to Eskimo and Butterfly kiss. They are so sweet and loving. Madeline is still working on it.
Everyone at the Brown House is on the mend. We are getting better and better each day. Madeline is back to eating and is doing pretty good. Big Girls are doing great and feeling good.
Current status of the Brown Family: Madeline – still ill Annie – getting over diarrehea Kimberly – diarrehea Bill – some sort of cold or flu Sandi – mild sore throat and cough UGH! It is so hard to be patient and understanding when you are surrounded by sick people. I am at my wits [...]
Merry Christmas. I hope that you all had a great holiday and that you were blessed more than you can imagine. I know I was. This year was very special. I was able to see the joy of Chirstmas through the eyes of three joyful little girls. They made everything more special. Annie and Kimberly [...]
Annie has the flu. I hope that she is at the tail end of it. She has not thrown up today so that is a good sign. I would hate for her to be so ill on Christmas. Madeline is still feeling icky. As I stated before, RSV is the devil! The new nebulizer treatments [...]
Seriously it sucks. My poor Madeline is ill again and has to be on a nebulizer. She would have had a simple cold but no, because of her RSV she has a upper respiratory infection! Hopefully she will not need the treatments very often and will recover well. I know that she did not have [...]
Yesterday I took Annie for her hearing screening. It was a stressful time for both of us. The Speech Therapist wanted to make sure that hearing was not a factor in Annie’s speech. The good news of the visit is that it should not. The bad news is that Annie was not able to hear [...]
has been great so far! I know that the girls are enjoying everything. We have been singing Christmas songs and drawing and coloring Christmas pictures. I am working on them understanding buying gifts for others. I think that they need to enjoy that as much as receiving presents. The 3 of the Girls have brought [...]
I cannot believe it has been that long. It seems like only yesterday we were bring our Sweet Madeline into the world. She continues to amaze us. She can sit up on her own, get into the sitting position from crawling, crawl and scoot about, say mama, and loves to climb up things to a [...]
Madeline says “Mama.” She crawls across the floor looking for me and calling “Mama.” It is the cutest thing. Just so you think I am not crazy Grandma Brown and Grandma Gatti have witnessed it along with Daddy and Annie and Kimberly! It was so neat to hear her calling me. I love it.
This year is the first year Annie and Kimberly were really able to help out with the Christmas baking. It was a blast! We began by mixing the dough for the spritz cookies. The girls loved to pour everything in. They were a little scared of the mixer at first but got used to that [...]
Madeline has a tooth! It popped through the skin just the other day! It is so neat to see her growing up and changing! I am very priviledged to be able to have a good seat for the show! I am spending time enjoying her toothless grin as she is most likely the last one [...]
Madeline slept through the night last night. Now, if only I had not woken up at 5:30 to check to make sure she was breathing and to go pee!!!!!! Let’s just hope this becomes her New Year’s Tradition! [UPDATE (12/13/2005) bbrown: She did it again last night! Sunday night she slept through till 4:30 and [...]
Well, not really. But seriously two 2 year old toddlers is enough to make you go crazy! Annie and Kimberly have always been a great sense of wonder for Bill and I. Lately I find myself wondering if we will make it through. They fight, they scream, they bite, they bother each other in just [...]
Last night we took The Girls out to see Christmas lights and they had a blast. Kimberly recently learned how to sing “O Christmas Tree,” which mainly consists of her shouting that line over and over. Well, while we were driving around, she suddenly belted out an improvised “O Christmas Lights” version. She even added [...]
Lately we have been receiving a lot of packages from UPS. Tonight when one arrived Kimmie jumped to the door and said, “yeah, Kimmie’s present!” Then Annie exclaimed, “open present now Momma!” They both went over and sat diligently under the Christmas tree awaiting the opening of the package. Sadly it was just some ornaments [...]
Today Aunt Teresa measured Annie and Kimberly for some dress up clothes she is making them for Christmas. Annie’s waist is 16.5 inches, Kimmie’s 18 inches, and Madeline’s is a whopping 19 inches!!! She is easily the biggest baby I have ever had. Now it is clear why I cannot find pants to fit Annie [...]
I read lots of blogs about people from all different walks of life, but one I read the other day made me think. It was about Christmas Gift Registry. This blog had a registry linked to their site so that, if you wanted, you could buy the child a gift! Golly, that is pretty presumptuous. [...]
Well, today I had my vasectomy and thus took myself out of the gene pool. It’s a bit of a shame because I really liked all the things associated with pregnancy: the initial burst of joy at the news, the inordinate attention to all of Sandi’s whims, the multitude of doctor visits, and then the [...]
