So much to do!
By sandi | November 20, 2008
In 17 short days Bill and I will going to get Paul. It is crazy how much time we have waited and how little we did during that time. We are the type that work well under pressure, that is going to be helpful during this time. I have an ever growing list of things to do:
Call doctor to request travel medications
Pick up prescriptions Wed after 11 am fill
Make a doctor appointment to Paul once he is home
Write a packing list
Make a list of all the stuff we still need for Paul
Shop for Paul
Christmas list
Shop for Christmas, I would like to have this done before I leave
Make meals ahead
Put photos in lockets
Copy tax returns from 2007 and get notarized
Request new large bills from the bank (you get better exchange rate if they are large and they won’t take anything older than 2002)
Get passport holders
Figure out suitcase situation
Buy tickets
pack suitcases
Decorate for Christmas
Get kids enrolled in the after preschool care
Get letter for my Mother to get medical attention for the kids
Christmas letter (leaving room to write a paragraph about Paul)
Record messages on answering machine for Mom to play for kids while we are gone if we can’t get phone calls in.
Write list for Grammy

I think you are solid on XMas presents — they are getting a brother. No need to shop.
Vera Bradley makes a very nice/convenient passport/airplane ticket holder.
If the stuff you need for Paul still on your registry??

Looks like you have a good start….and remember it always comes together in the end! Hopefully, your local family and friends can help out with the meals
Maybe you’ve posted about this before, but who’s staying with the girls?

Sometimes pressure can be a good thing, right? It will all get done. Each thing you cross off of that list brings you one step closer to that precious little man!!
