“Mom why do people keep bees?” ~ Kimmie asked while in pantry
“Mom did the bees get to keep some of this honey too?” ~ Kimmie asked while holding up the bear honey jar
She has seen the Bee Movie and apparently is seriously concerned about bee’s rights. I assured her that the bees kept some and that people keep bees to make honey. She was still concerned but put the honey back in the pantry.
Later she asked if the beekeepers get stung, I said that they probably do but I really don’t know. She let me know that she was not going to chose beekeeper for a profession when she grew up. So funny the little things she thinks about while making sense of this crazy world.
