Rescuing another

Today my Brother called and texted me a photo of a little kitten in need of a home. I forwarded the text to Bill saying that Annie wants to have her fully expecting him to say “no.”
He surprised us all and said “sure.” So my brother brought her by. She is such a cutie. The kids fell in love with her immediately. We have decided to call her Zoey. Although Annie wants to have her nickname be Oreo. That is right, she is black and white. 
She is sweet and cute, but the poor little girl has a broken tail. It looks like it may have been closed in a door once. 
It feels like it is completely fused together and doesn’t seem to cause her any discomfort.
I didn’t get a chance to get a picture of her today because I have some sort of head cold and fever but I will try to tomorrow.

Yay for the kitten and I hope you feel better tomorrow. I look forward to seeing her and to hearing that you’re doing well.
For what it’s worth-I talked to a vet once, years ago, regarding a cat with a seemingly broken tail. She told me that sometimes it can happen during development.
Of course, that doesn’t mean that’s what happened with Zoey.

Yeah for kittens!!! Paul will surly have hours of fun chasing little Zoey around the house.

Kittens and little girls…sooo perfect!!
Our cat has a broken tail…it was closed in the cage door at the humane society when she was a tiny kitten!!
Love the name Oreo, BTW!! Hope you are on the mend soon!!

I can’t wait to see pics! I love kittens. The tip of Carter’s tail seems to have been broken when he was a kitten and it doesn’t bother him at all now.

I guess cats may actually have 9 lives- crazy the amounts of kittens in this small circle with broken tails- Yikes!!!

Cookie says the dog was playing mommy and it got hurt in his mouth.
