Mimi’s first sleepover
By sandi | December 30, 2009
Tonight Mimi is at Grammy and Papa’s house for her first sleepover. I miss her.
I would like to think that there is nothing different about Mimi, but with her history and issues I worry more. Not that her Grandparents aren’t capable, nothing could be further from the truth. It isn’t them, it is me. I had a harder time letting her go to preschool as well.
I am proud of myself that I do it anyway. There isn’t anything different about Mimi, except that she has had to overcome some pretty big hurdles. They are just feelings I have, and she is strong and has passed the obstacles. She is growing up quick and is independent enough to have a sleepover at Grammy’s. She is safe and loved.
I am proud of her that she is able to go and be so brave. She is maturing into such a wonderful person. I know she is over there building memories and having fun.

Mimi did just fine. She made dinner, ate, played with love bug, on tramp, made brownies, watched her tigger movie in the boys room with them and ate her brownies. I was very impressed she moved her bed to my room when the movie was over and went to bed all by her self. She also brushed her teeth after her brownie all by her self she is a very big girl. It was a pleasers to have each one of the girls over I hope we can do it again soon. Maybe next year Paul can come to.
