Ballerina Madeline

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012

Mimi had her recital this past weekend. She was amazingly in sync with her group and looked beautiful as part of Sleeping Beauty. One of her good friends Emma was in the same dance class. She loved the yellow daisies we gave her after her performance. She has them in a vase in her room. [...]

Paul’s First Recital

Tuesday, May 22nd, 2012

Paul participated in his first dance recital on Saturday. His mini show was very cute and he certainly stole my heart when he performed. Grammy came to watch him and she loved the show as well. Since we didn’t think he would appreciate flowers Grammy decided to bring him a cup full of m&m’s.

Tuesday, May 15th, 2012

The school year is almost over and that means summer is on it’s way. With another school year behind us it is very clear that the kids are going to be grown and gone in the blink of an eye. I want to make sure that this summer we soak up all the good living [...]

Madeline’s well check

Friday, May 4th, 2012

Madeline had her well check this week and she is growing and maturing right on target. This is something I still stand in awe of. No matter how often they tell me she is fine now, I can’t help but be amazed. If she continues to grow at her current rate she will be 5’5″ [...]

Literal Paul

Friday, May 4th, 2012

Literally is one of those words that has lost it’s literal meaning. You will hear people say they “literally did _______” when in reality they mean to just exaggerate. This overuse is so grand that they made a character on the show Parks and Recreation, (which I don’t watch) surrounding this hilarity of the overuse. [...]

Madeline’s 7th Birthday at Pump It Up

Friday, May 4th, 2012

Madeline had always preferred a home party but this year she insisted that she needed a Pump It Up party. We booked her party and had fun with it. Birthday Girl with her vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting. Her candy bar for the kids to pick from for their take home treat. Mimi playing with [...]
