Madeline’s Troop Visits the Senior Center
By sandi | February 17, 2013
As a Girl Scout Leader I like to do things with the Girls that expose them to service. I want them to be compassionate toward others and really make an effort to be kind.
For Valentine’s day we took Mimi’s troop to the Alzheimer’s Home and the Girls painted the nails of the older ladies. They even let the ladies paint their nails. It was super sweet and showed a true amount of passion.
In addition the Girls made homemade Valentines to share and the Ladies really appreciated them.
