Playing with Madeline

Tuesday, June 7th, 2005

During Madeline’s awake time the girls enjoy talking to her and want to play with her. Last week we were playing in the playroom and I placed a link in front of Maddie’s hand and she grabbed it. She still has that reflex. The Girls thought this was super cool so they kept trying to [...]

Reflection on Breastfeeding

Monday, May 23rd, 2005

When I had Annie I had anticipated that I would be able to breastfeed her and her sister Kimberly. Things did not work out that way. Annie could not latch, heck, she couldn’t even latch onto a bottle. Everything I had read or heard said that it was this wonderful natural thing to do. Well, [...]

Tuesday, May 17th, 2005

Children count 19 months ago – 0 Children count now – 3 It is amazing to me how much we have changed since the birth of our first child. And we did it all in record time! Happy 19 month birthday, Kimberly Rose. I would not have missed these days with you for the world!

LOVE!

Monday, May 16th, 2005

I am just so in love with my three babies. I love that they are so close. I love that they are mine! I love that I have been trusted to guide them through life. I was sitting here holding Madeline and started crying over how happy I am to be their mother. Madeline is [...]

Jump My Loves

Wednesday, May 11th, 2005

So Kimberly’s jumping? She wouldn’t do it for me, unfortunately. I know that Kimberly has been wanting to do it for as long as she’s been watching me jump the baby gate at the foot of the stairs or jumping over toys. I can’t wait to see it because jumping toddlers are about the cutest [...]

A new member of the family.

Sunday, May 1st, 2005

While I was in the hospital our trusty dryer quit working. Today we got a new one. So much for the purse I wanted for Mother’s Day. I guess I have to wait for another holiday.

We are HOME!!!

Sunday, April 24th, 2005

We finally got discharged from the hospital around 9 PM last night. When they were checking Madeline and I out I asked them to check her weight. She is up to 6 pounds 3 and 1/2 ounces. I am so proud of her and her weight gain. I am so happy to be home. I [...]

A Shower of Blessings

Monday, April 18th, 2005

This Saturday friends and family gathered around to bestow blessings to my new baby. It was wonderful to see everyone and to have a chance to be together before my life turns upside down. As with my previous showers, people were generous beyond belief. This little girl is not going to know that she is [...]

It must have been funny.

Friday, April 1st, 2005

Every night after bath we put the girls into their pajamas and then let them come to our bed to read some books before bed. Tonight when we got to our bed the girls just kept wrestling and laughing. Although it is cute and cuddly to watch I was exhausted from their antics all day [...]

Happy Easter!

Sunday, March 27th, 2005

We had an amazing day today! The Girls are so big now that it is such a joy to watch them enjoy the world around them. They woke up this morning and hunted for eggs in the loft. They did a good job at finding them. Of course, we did not really hide them. We [...]

Dying Eggs!

Saturday, March 26th, 2005

We dyed eggs with our girls last night. They had a complete blast putting the eggs in and out of the colors. All of our eggs are cracked up but I am so glad that we were able to enjoy this time with our girls. It will be our first “real” Easter and I know [...]

A new toy!

Sunday, March 20th, 2005

We finally bought the girls the water/sand table we had been promising them. Sadly the weather was not cooperating today so they just had to play with it indoors. No sand and no water were to be had. They loved it still. they were enjoying pushing their cars around the track and playing with the [...]

We need some HELP!

Wednesday, March 16th, 2005

We have been having a hard time with Kimberly biting Annie lately. She used to do it quite a bit and then seh stopped for about 2 months. We thought that she had grown out of it. That is not the case. This problem is two-fold; Annie is annoying and gets in Kimberly’s face far [...]

ZOO

Saturday, March 5th, 2005

Today we took The Girls to Wildlife World Zoo. They loved it. There were so many animals that they could see close up and personal. They loved the petting zoo. Annie had one goat in particular that she was quite fond of. Kimberly was not afraid of the animals. On previous visits she had been [...]

They Kissed!

Wednesday, February 23rd, 2005

Last night in the bathtub Annie and Kimberly kissed!!! It was the most beautiful thing. Bill and I melted as we watched! They are amazing babies. In other news Little Bit has finally decided to turn. She is now head down and getting ready!

I finally figured something out

Tuesday, February 1st, 2005

I finally figured something out! I think I have cracked the code on why my daughters love one show and dislilke the next. It has boiled down to a couple of things. 1. The show must have music in it! They love to dance and try to sing along. 2. It must have people in [...]

getting better

Tuesday, February 1st, 2005

The girls are doing so much better this morning. The augmenten really helped Annie last night. She did not even have a slight fever this morning. I could not be more happy. I guess it helps that they slept through the night too. Which means I slept through the night.

Finally

Saturday, January 29th, 2005

Finally the Girls are begining to feel better! They are both doing well and thankfully Kimmie never got too sick.
